I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University interested in robotics, dynamic systems and controls, and design. My Ph.D. research is on developing high-resolution shape displays for haptic surface interaction and adaptive optics. Previously, I have had the pleasure of working on robotics and nonlinear control systems across different size scales, from developing industrial calibration stations for autonomous vehicle LiDAR sensors to designing airfoils and control systems for a cigar-sized rocket.
My Ph.D. research is with Professor Sean Follmer in the SHAPE Lab. I earned my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford in June 2022, and my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a minor in Physics at the University of California, Berkeley in May 2020.
